Colchester Zoo Visit
15 members of the Norfolk Foreign Bird Association braved the heatwave which reached 77 degrees Fahrenheit today. For the clever members amongst us that is 25 degrees Celsius. We attended Colchester Zoo and met at 10am before going round enjoying the exhibits, displays, food & drink and the train ride. Lots of endangered species with plenty of birds as well as animals. A really enjoyable day, fascinating animals and knowledgeable hosts. Colchester Zoo was very clean and well kept. All the enclosures were roomy and kept tidy. This is one venue I will definitely be returning to! LONDON ZOO VISIT - Behind the Scenes
Coach Trip to London Zoo for a behind the scenes tour of the Bird Species.
This was a great day out and the tour around the Zoo was hosted by the Head of Animals & Birds Adrian Walls. He has so much knowledge and made our behind the scene tour very interesting. It was a fantastic day and we also found time to visit so of the animal enclosures as well. We found all the birds at the Zoo in fantastic condition which is a credit to the staff that look after them, BIRDWORLD - Coach Trip
Coach Trip to Birdworld in Farnham, Surrey. Long coach journey but was well worth the trip. Fantastic Park/Zoo full of all kind of birds and some animals. This was a very enjoyable trip and surprizing to see some birds there were for sale.
